Empfehlungen für mich!? Diesmal wird´s OLD SCHOOL!

Hallo liebe Community!

Wer mich hier schon länger kennt, erinnert sich vielleicht wo ich Ende 2008 die Adventures für mich als Genre entdeckte und nach Empfehlungen suchte. Ich beschränkte mich damals aber noch auf die Windows Spiele, also hatte mir so eine Grenze was Alter der Spiele angeht gezogen.

Nun bin ich so weit, ich kenne denke ich alle 3D Adventures, habe alles mindestens angespielt, was mich interessierte und nun bin ich bereit diese Grenze auch zu sprengen!

Daher suche ich nun mal wieder die besten Adventures - bevorzugt Horror, Surreal, gruselig, starke Atmosphäre, Cyberpunk aber im Grunde alles was sehr gut ist oder damals halt das beste vom besten war! (natürlich könnt ihr auch weiterhin aktuelle oder nicht DOS Spiele nennen, doppelt hält besser und wer weiß, vielleicht wurde doch eine Perle die sich zu spielen lohnt übersehen )

Diesmal inkl. alles was man irgendwie heute noch spielen kann, ja mit DOS und 2D!

Ich freue mich auf eure Empfehlungen und auf danach auf das Einkaufen der Schätze der Vergangenheit!

Wenn du dieses seltene Gefühl wieder haben willst, solltest du einfach bei Jane Jensen bleiben und dich auf die Gabriel-Knight-Serie stürzen.

Noch nicht, mit Chris seiner Liste bin ich etwas überfordert und weiß nun nicht so wirklich wo ich anfangen soll.
Will er mir das wirklich alles empfehlen? Oder nur die dicke makierten? Will er mir wirklich Adventures wie Sex Olympics empfehlen? Wieso sind da lauter ATARI Spiele drin, wie soll ich die auf modernen PC spielen?

Die Liste von Chris ist eine Sammlung von ein paar Print-Wertungen für ältere Adventures.
Aussagegehalt hält sich aber arg in Grenzen, da einige Zeitschriften komplett fehlen und selbst von einer vertretenen Zeitschrift wie dem PC Joker mehr als genug Testergebnisse fehlen (z.B.: 86% für Gabriel Knight 2, 86% für Riven etc. etc.).

Um beim Beispiel Gabriel Knight 2 zu bleiben: Hier nicht enthaltene Wertungen wie die 88% von der PC Games, 88% von der PC Action, 86% vom PC Joker zeichnen wohl ein ziemlich anderes Bild als diese Liste und solche Beispiele ließen sich sicher massenhaft finden, insofern weiß ich nicht, wie man diese Liste halbwegs seriös als "damalige Best of" bezeichnen will.

Richtig, die dick gedruckten wären meine Empfehlung. Die Zeitschriften PC Joker, Power Play, ASM und Amiga Joker waren damals die Referenz bzw. die Mehrheitsblätter. PC Games hatte zu dieser Zeit einen anderen Stand. Insofern, wenn sich jemand ein Bild von den damaligen Empfindungen der Masse zu bestimmten Spielen machen möchte, ist diese Liste schon nicht schlecht. Wenn Du Dir dann noch die ASM-Liste anschaust. Die muss man gesondert anwählen und zusätzlich bei bei kultpower.de reinschaust, hast Du ein sehr realistisches Bild der damaligen Zeit. Ich war ein Mainstreamgamer zu dieser Zeit und Adventures gehörten dazu. Und kaum Aussagekräftig ist wohl ein Witz. Die Wertungen von PC Joker und Power Play hatten eben auch beim Käufer und den Meinungen über die Spiele damals die stärkste Wirkung. Und es ging ja um die zeitgenössischen besten Titel. Dass man persönlich da auch andere Ansichten haben kann, mag sein. Es gibt aber Titel die einhellig unverzichtbar gewesen sind und das auch noch heute sind.
