Die Grafik sieht zweifellos super aus, sie wurde aber nicht für die hohe Auflösung des Retina-Displays (2048x1536) angepasst. Ich habe mal ein paar Bildausschnitt-Vergleiche (iPad1-Ausschnitt auf 200% vergrößert) beigefügt:

Bei "Edna bricht aus" ist die Grafik auf dem iPad1 (links) und dem neuen iPad quasi identisch, selbst die Texte nutzen nicht die höhere Auflösung:

Auch "Der Fall John Yesterday" begnügt sich auf dem neuen iPad mit der 1024x768-Auflösung, sieht aber deutlich besser aus, da beim iPad1 die Texturen stark komprimiert sind:

Bei Spielen mit Retina-Auflösung sind die Unterschiede deutlich größer, hier das Denkspiel "Cover Orange" in 2D-Bitmap-Grafik:

Bei Spielen mit 3D-Engine sind die Polygon-Modelle detaillierter und die Objekte haben keine Treppchen mehr, hier das Geschicklichkeitsspiel "Temple Run":

Danke! Ich habe das Spiel jetzt doppelt bei den alphabetischen Ankündigungen. Einmal unter der bisherigen Bezeichnung "Ace Attorney 123 HD" und unter dem neuen Titel "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD"

Aus den Kommentaren im Capcom-Blog: "Does this increases the chances of a localization of AAI2?" - Capcom-Chris: "It will if it's a success "

Wenn sich die Fan-Basis durch die zusätzlichen Plattformen vergrößert, kommt Capcom vielleicht doch noch zu dem Schluss, dass sich eine Übersetzung von "Ace Attorney Investigations 2" lohnt.

Lili ist wirklich hübsch geworden. Spielerisch und vom Setting sowie der Musik erinnert es mich bisher am meisten an die Anfangsphase einiger Zelda-Spiele... mal schauen, wie es sich weiterentwickelt.

In July 1914, on the eve of World War I, as the train departs on its final journey from Paris to Constantinople, the player steps into the shoes of Robert Cath, an American doctor with a mysterious past. A fugitive from French police, Cath, boards the train in answer to an urgent telegram from his best friend – and plunges into a maelstrom of conspiracy, romance and murder.

The DotEmu release is a faithful iOS port of the original game. The Last Express allows players to interact in real time with 30 characters representing a cross-section of pre-WWI Europe, including Serbian freedom fighters, a German arms dealer, a Russian anarchist, a beautiful Austrian concert violinist, a eunuch guarding a Turkish harem, and a mysterious art collector travelling in his own private car. As the train races east, the player must stay alive while eavesdropping on conversations, sneaking into compartments, battling deadly opponents and defusing a bomb. The story is non-linear; characters act independently, conversing and moving about the train even when the player is not there to witness them, so that every play-through of the game is different.

Critical Acclaim:
Upon release in 1997, The Last Express received rave reviews and won numerous awards including Editor's Choice awards from PC Gamer, Computer Gaming World, Next Generation, and dozens of game websites, including a gold medal from GamesDomain. Dubbed “exquisite” and “thrilling” by Newsweek, the game appears on many critics’ lists of the best adventure games of all time. It was also included in Tony Mott’s book “1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die”

Auf Last Express freu' ich mich schon sehr, wusste gar nicht, dass das von dem PoP Fuzzi ist. (Freue mich, weil ich es bisher nie habe spielen können, aber immer wollte.)

Nachtrag zu City Of Secrets: das fand ich leider ziemlich schlecht, auch wenn's hübsch ausschaut.

The Last Express ist jetzt im AppStore... soll aber nach den ersten Bewertungen noch nicht rund laufen.

Und für Android-Fans: Googly Play haut derzeit einige Top-Spiele für günstige 25 Cent raus (allerdings bisher keine Adventures).
