Bin neulich über den Humble Weekly Sale an die Steamkeys für "The Walking Dead" gekommen. Kann man irgendwie auf deutsche Untertitel umstellen? Ich habe gehört, es hätte irgendwann im März ein solches Update gegeben... und das soll angeblich auch für Steam aktivierbar sein...
Habe leider so meine Probleme mit Slang und umgangssprachlichen Raffinessen, die es ja hier zur Genüge zu geben scheint. Und da reicht es schon, wenn man 1 von 20 Sätzen nicht versteht, schon ist die Atmosphäre hinüber oder man hat ein wichtiges Detail verpasst...
Das einzige, was extrem nervt, sind die Hotspots. Das sind ja wirklich nur Punkte, teilweise nicht mal zentriert im Objekt sondern manchmal weit daneben! Wenn man mit einer Person reden will, muss man schon exakt den Punkt irgendwo in der Bauchgegend suchen...

Ich hab mal geschaut. Gehe in deine Steamspielebibliothek -> Rechtsklick auf das Spiel in der Liste -> Eigenschaften -> Reiter Sprache -> auf deutsch umstellen. Deutsche Untertitel sind auf alle Fälle vorhanden, habs ausprobiert.

Übrigens das mit den Hotspots ist mit Gamepad weniger schlimm, da dort der Cursor wesentlich größer ist, also mehr Fläche auf dem Bildschirm abdeckt und Hotspots leichter findet. Das ist aber natürlich keine Entschuldigung für dieses leichte Defizit bei der Maussteuerung. Ich erinnere mich aber auch noch dunkel, dass man die Sichtbarkeit der Hotspots regulieren konnte, vielleicht bringt das was.

Habe mir heute TWD gekauft.
Kenne allerdings die Serie och nicht, will die aber unbedingt schauen, wenn so die dritte oder vierte Staffel auf DVD erhältlich ist.
Kann ich trotzdem das Spiel problemlos spielen, oder erfahre ich zu viel und versaue mir so die Serie?

Mir iost bewusst, dass das Spiel Bezüge zur Serie herstellt, besteht da Spoiler-Gefahr oder sagt das Spiel nichts über den Handlungsverlauf der Serie aus?

Wie die anderen schon geschrieben haben, macht es keinen Unterschied, ob man erst das Spiel spielt oder erst die Serie schaut.BattleBee hat geschrieben:Mir iost bewusst, dass das Spiel Bezüge zur Serie herstellt, besteht da Spoiler-Gefahr oder sagt das Spiel nichts über den Handlungsverlauf der Serie aus?
Beide, sowohl die TV-Serie als auch das Spiel, basieren auf den Comics von (u.a.) Robert Kirkman. Doch während die TV-Serie lose die Geschichte der Comics nacherzählt, erzählt das Spiel eine völlig eigenständige Geschichte. Es gibt zwar Parallelen, aber nirgendwo wird im Spiel direkt die Geschichte der TV-Serie aufgegriffen.
