MICROIDS SIGNS A COPRODUCTION AGREEMENT WITH PENDULO STUDIOS (RUNAWAY, THE NEXT BIG THING, YESTERDAY…)

Paris, December 09, 2014 – French publisher Microïds and Pendulo Studios, two companies specializing in adventure games, announce the development of a new major title.

Willing to work with the most emblematic authors of adventure games (Benoit Sokal for Syberia 3, Paul Cuisset for Subject 13) and to rely on strong world-wide famous scenarios (2 games based on Agatha Christie’s work are in progress), Microïds secure their cooperation with some of the best actors of the industry.

With several critically and commercially acclaimed titles (the Runaway saga, The Next Big Thing, Yesterday), Pendulo Studios began the development of an adventure game with Microïds as coproducer. The title will keep its very identifiable graphic touch in order to maintain the link between the studio’s various creations, much to the delight of the fans.

Once again, Microïds show the will to support more than ever adventure games with several ambitious production, as Alain Milly, Publishing director at Microïds confirms “We are delighted to welcome today the Pendulo Studios team and their known expertise in the adventure game field for a long and successful collaboration for all and for the players in particular.”

Felipe Gomez Pinilla, co-fonder at Pendulo Studios, adds “We have no doubt that this cooperation with a publisher the adventure fan community acclaims thanks to strong titles like Syberia will quickly bear fruit and the fans will enjoy it.”
