Adventure Gamers hat auf der E3 bei Funcom nachgefragt, ob ein zweiter Teil zu dem brillianten Adventure The Longest Journey geplant ist. Herausgekommen ist Hoffnung:

"We stopped by the Funcom booth yesterday and asked one of their PR staffers whether we will ever see a sequel to the Longest Journey. The Funcom representative smiled and simply said ' no comment'. When we pushed for more details, he said something along the lines of that they really want to do one and that we should not completely give up hope."
