Adventure-Treff

Vielleicht hat der ein oder andere mitbekommen, dass Ron Gilbert heute ein Treffen in Amsterdam veranstaltet hat. Ich hab davon gestern Abend gelesen und bin heute spontan hingefahren. War wirklich ein super Erlebnis, hier ein paar Bilder:

Neee - danke fürs Wecken - so konnte ich mir vier Stunden lang überlegen, ob ich mit Mann und Motte nach D´dorf in den Aquazoo fahren sollte - ich hab es dann vorgezogen nach den vier Stunden wieder ins Bett zu gehen

Wie lange hast Du denn gebraucht bist Du in Amsterdam warst?

Die ganze Strecke Haustür<->Ron hat jeweils 4 1/2 Stunden gedauert, davon 3 - 3 1/2 Stunden Fahrt. Aber das wars wert

Jan, I see in that last photograph that you ate at the FEBO? I think they have the best fries in the land, but I'm amazed Ron wanted to get some snacks out of the wall; he started the day with classy wine and all

(to everyone: sorry for the English, even though I can read and understand Deutsch easily, I fear I'd make a hopeless mess if I tried to write it myself)

Hi Rodi, actually we didn't eat there. I just took a photo there to prove we actually were in the Netherlands (although that naked man should do that, too). We ate some meters away from there.

I was just browsing the web and ended on ron's site and was reminded of the RonFest. It was really a great day alltogether and I'm still happy I've been there. DasJan, good to have had you there too!! If he's ever going to be near again I will (hopefully) be there again.

Brilliant picture of Ron taking a picture of that guy! How's the german Adventure-life anyway? Any recommendations on games you can make?

Quite good, lot's of adventures coming out. There are 3 German companies doing big adventure business at the moment: Deck 13 just released "Ankh" (3D comic MI style humor adventure set in ancient egypt), Animation Arts / Fusionsphere Systems is working on "Secret Files: Tunguska" mystery thriller which will be released next year and of course House of Tales ("The Moment of Silence") is working on their next adventure "Overclocked" (2007). But even some international games hit shelves here first (like Keepsake). Germany is a good country to be for an adventure gamer
