We released our first game The World After a couple of years ago, it is being ported to consoles right now and will be released at the end of the month.

Öha, nach kurzem Reinspielen in die Demo bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob das was für mich ist. Actioneinlagen, Entscheidungen mit Autosave und bei jedem Item, das aus dem Inventar entfernt oder hinzugefügt wird, gibt es eine Notification + ein *pling*. Gleich drei Dinge, die mich potenziell in den Wahnsinn treiben können.

Ich hoffe die A Twisted Tale Backer sind auf dem Laufenden und haben ihre E-Mails im Blick!

Immer mit der Ruhe! Das Spiel läuft uns ja nicht weg. Außerdem habe ich bereits eine News dazu geschrieben, damit es niemand vergisst.

Könnt ihr dieses Projekt bitte nicht bewerben, oder zumindest mit einem Warnhinweis versehen? Das ganze Buch ist eine Sammlung von aus dem Netz zusammengeklauten Materials anderer Leute (natürlich ohne deren Zustimmung einzuholen), inklusive zu einem winzigen Teil von mir. Alle Artikel und Interviews stammen von Wikipedia und anderen Websites, das Cover ist übelsten AI-Müll.

Das Bigbox-Design benutzte ursprünglich das Papiermuster, das ich für das LOOM-Release von Limited Run Games erstellt habe. Nachdem ich ihn darauf hingewiesen habe, wurde mein Einwand als lächerlich bezeichnet, mit der Behauptung die Textur gegen Geld lizenziert zu haben. Komischerweise hat er daraufhin aber klammheimlich das Bild in der Kampagne ausgetauscht, ohne einen Fehler einzugestehen.

An sich ist das ja wirklich keine große Sache, dürfte aber - auch in Kombination mit dem (immer noch fehlerhaften) AI-Cover ("Beyond the CLiICK"??) nur die Spitze des Eisberges sein. Wenn man schon beim einzig relevanten Artwork der Kampagne per AI klauen muss, sollte klar sein, was einem im Rest des Buches erwartet.

Der Projektgründer hatte schon zuvor bei Kickstarter mit einem (natürlich nicht lizenzierten) Ghostbusters-Spiel versagt. Umso trauriger, dass er für dieses zusammengeklaute Werk schon soviel Geld gesammelt hat.
