Exclusive: CSI Hard Evidence to the Wii

Well its another update with my distributor contact and CSI: Hard Evidence is listed down for the Wii. The game will be published by Ubisoft for a September release. The game is based on the television series, is in development by Telltale Games (PC Version at least) and is an adventure title. A press release was issued out last year with a description of the game:
“Hard Evidence will feature “forensic reconstructions and atmospheric crime scenes taken directly from the television show, including an all-new garage lab for analyzing large evidence such as cars and boats, improved evidence gathering, review and lab mini-games, and more areas to explore, resulting in longer play experiences.”
Das wäre dann nach Sam and Max der 2te bestätigte Adventuretitel für die Wii!

Hatte ich ja gleich gesagt, dass es mit Sicherheit nicht nur bei Sam & Max bleibt, und dass mit ziemlicher Sicherheit auch die CSI-Titel von Telltale konvertiert werden - die Engine ist die Gleiche und Ubisoft ein starker Wii-Supporter.

Ich habe aber leider die Befürchtung, dass nur ein kleiner Kern von Hardcoreadventurespielern den Titel kaufen wird. Kommerziell wird das vermutlich ein ähnlicher Flop wie die Xbox Versionen von Baphomets Fluch 3 und die PS2 Variante von Monkey Island 4. Die Wiimote bietet sich zur Steuerung zwar an, aber Adventures hatten auf Konsolen schon immer einen schweren Stand. Gerade auch wegen der teilweise üblen Ladezeiten und Tonaussetzer....

Da bin ich nicht so sicher. Da die Engine für Sam & Max sowieso portiert wird und CSI dabei als Nebenprodukt noch gleich mit abfällt, dürfte die Wii-Version relativ günstig zu produzieren sein. Außerdem hat CSI den Vorteil der TV-Lizenz. Gibt bestimmt einige CSI-Fans da daußen, die eine Wii am Fernseher haben, aber mit PC-Spielen weniger am Hut haben.

Grammatikalisch ist "er" weiblich, Nintendo hat aber die Auflage erteilt, ihn so weit wie möglich artikellos zu gebrauchen. Ansonsten halt "die Wii".
