Nancy Drew auf Nintendo DS

Letzten Monat wurde von Majesco ein Nancy Drew Game für Nintendo DS angekündigt - und es scheint ein Adventure zu werden. Es wird aber diesmal nicht von Her Interactive, sondern von Gorilla Systems entwickelt.

‘NANCY DREW AND THE DEADLY SECRET OF OLDE WORLD PARK’
EDISON, NJ, February 7, 2007 –The world’s most recognizable teen sleuth unravels an interactive mystery in Nancy Drew™ and The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park, a new game for the Nintendo DS from Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL). Developed by Gorilla Systems Co. and scheduled for worldwide release later this year, Nancy Drew™ lets fans become the world’s most recognizable teen detective in a Touch Screen based adventure.
“Today’s Nancy Drew is a very strong, female lead heroine whose independence and perseverance make her an excellent role model,” said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing. “Our new Nintendo DS game captures the spirit of this classic character and brings Nancy to life in an interactive, graphic novel inspired world.”
In Nancy Drew™ and The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park, players assume the role of the teenage super sleuth as she works to solve the mystery of the missing billionaire, Thaddeus Belmont. Players must collect clues, decipher puzzles, follow suspects, sneak into areas and much more as they use their deductive reasoning skills to progress through 15 increasingly difficult chapters. Touch Screen play is incorporated into unique conversation and unlocking mini-games, but players will also use the stylus in Nancy’s Clue Journal to access maps, inventory and tasks.

Wenn's denn mal in unseren Gefielden erscheint, wär das mal was.
Aber wenn man sieht was momentan hier so alles für den DS kommt, wird ein Release Endlich mal wahrscheinlich.
Und da ja auch der Nancy Drew Film in den Startlöchern steht, wäre die vermarktung des Spiels, mit Sicherheit auch nicht das dümmste.

Naja, in der PM steht ja was von worldwide release dieses Jahr, und bei gamespot wurde ebenfalls geschrieben USA & Europa im 4. Quartal

Nur muss das Spiel auch erst mal gut werden. Bei so Lizenzdingern bin ich mir da immer nicht so sicher...
Vor allem auch weil sowohl der Entwickler als auch der Publisher nicht unbedingt bekannt für überragende Spiele sind (wobei Majesco auch durchaus ordentliche Titel im Lineup hat).

Die sind sehr gut!
Man darf sich natürlich nicht davon abschrecken lassen, dass die Zielgruppe Mädchen im Teenie-Alter sind...Oder wie es der Slogan sagt 'For girls who aren't afraid of a mouse'.
Es sind Krimi-Adventures aus der Ego-Perspektive, man befragt also Verdächtige, liest alle möglichen Dokumente, telefoniert oft, knackt Schieberätsel und ähnliches.
Das ist alles sehr liebevoll gemacht; die Dialoge sind auch auf englisch sehr gut zu verstehen und wie ich finde gut geeignet, den Umgang mit der englischen Sprache zu verbessern.
Also...auch wenn ich alles andere als ein Teenager-Girl bin (höchstens tief in meinem Herzen
) bin ich ein großer Fan!

@Adven: Ich kenn sie zwar auch nicht persönlich, aber unter
http://www.adventure-archiv.de wirst du ständig über solche Spiele informiert, weiß nicht genau, ob der AT die Reihe auch ankündigt, hab das bisher nur im AA bemerkt.
